Lead Software Engineer

As a  Technical Lead , you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and stakeholder needs. About the Role In this opportunity as a Technical Lead, you will: Partner with business and technology stakeholders to architect scalable, resilient, and high-performing software solutions with strong product and domain understanding Lead the technical design and hands-on implementation of key initiatives, working closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams Drive engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews, robust testing strategies, quality analysis, and continuous improvement practices Establish and enforce industry best practices, coding standards, and development processes across projects and teams Mentor and support engineers at different levels, fostering technical growth through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing Provide strong technical leadership to ensure high-quality deliverables, sound architectural decisions, and timely execution of project milestones Facilitate Agile ceremonies and planning sessions with Product Owners and engineering teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, technical feasibility, and delivery goals Identify technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve complex engineering challenges Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and operational excellence within the team About You You're a fit for the role of Technical Lead if your background includes: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering 7 years of hands-on software development experience with a strong track record of delivering scalable and reliable software solutions Proven experience leading the design and delivery of complex software projects and distributed systems Strong technical leadership experience, with the ability to guide teams, influence decisions, and drive execution Advanced proficiency in JVM-based languages such Java and Scala Interest in working with Scala and willingness to explore functional programming paradigms Deep understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and system design best practices Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker Strong expertise in relational database management systems Comprehensive understanding of enterprise architecture, including scalability, system integration, security, reliability, and testing strategies Proficiency with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code Experience implementing automated testing and quality assurance practices across the development lifecycle Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and lead through changing technologies, business needs, and priorities Agile mindset with the flexibility to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across teams and organizational levels #LI-AD1 What’s in it For You?
