Here’s What You’ll Do: Build and maintain developer tooling—including AI agents, generators, libraries, templates, CLIs, and services—that improve developer efficiency and establish standardized “golden paths” across engineering teams. Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery at scale. Develop and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code, ensuring repeatability, security, scalability, and long-term maintainability. Implement and operate shared builder services that enhance the platform developer and DevOps experience across the organization. Enable and accelerate AI-assisted development by integrating advanced tooling (including MCP-style capabilities), packaging internal solutions, and embedding AI into developer workflows. Partner closely with application engineers (“Builders”) to identify friction points and deliver practical, scalable platform solutions that drive adoption and productivity across teams. Write high-quality, production-grade code and automation in languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript and Python. Support application teams by providing robust infrastructure for services, environments, deployment workflows, and operational readiness. Continuously improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience through automation, intelligent defaults, and scalable system design. Contribute to documentation, engineering standards, and best practices that empower teams to move faster with confidence and consistency. The solutions we’re building go beyond any job description.” Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications): BS/BA degree in Computer Science with 5 years of relevant work experience. 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related role. Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python. Hands-on experience building and operating solutions in AWS. Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems. Interest/familiar with using Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and manage cloud resources. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, code review, version control, and system design. Ability to work across application and platform boundaries to solve developer productivity and delivery problems.
