A key part of Airwallex’s suite of Business Account software, the Spend Management team is revolutionizing the way businesses issue credit cards and manage expenses for their employees. This team solves complex challenges around the growing demands of data and feature complexity in credit cards and expenses. We work at the intersection of our backend infrastructure and customer facing applications, and we build distributed systems that manage millions of transactions. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will design and build the backend services that power Airwallex’s global financial platform, with a specific focus on the Spend team under the Accounting Hub. You will work on services that underpin how customers track, reconcile and account for spend transactions, ensuring accuracy, reliability and compliance of financial data. You will own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through to production operation, while helping shape the long-term architecture of our backend systems in the Spend and Accounting domains. You will partner closely with product, infrastructure and other engineering teams, and play a key role in raising the engineering bar through high-quality code and technical mentorship.
