Cyber Security Engineer

About the role: As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, planning, configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading COTS/GOTS and custom toolsets to address vulnerabilities and/or implement security controls in order to secure DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity approvals. You will apply a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture security policies and support full spectrum military cyberspace operations. What you will do: Design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions Security control design and solution planning at the system, mission, and enterprise level, security-in-depth/defense-in-depth, and other related IAM/ISSO/ISSE support functions Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 12+ years, or PhD with 9+ years. Experience with cloud-native cybersecurity (i.e. Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure) Experience with cyber capabilities, TS clearance with SCI eligibility, applicable security training and certificates, cyberspace operations tactics, crisis action planning, and analytical methodologies Highly Preferred Experience supporting DoD, federal, or classified software programs Familiarity with systems engineering processes and documentation Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or modern software delivery practices Experience with DoD cloud environments and processes Mentorship of junior engineers or informal technical leadership experience Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret with SCI Work Type: Onsite in Colorado Springs, CO May require up to 15% travel Salary Range : $140,000 - $170,000 The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities What we will offer you: Highly competitive salary Fully covered healthcare, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) and company match Take as you need PTO + 11 paid holidays Education training benefits Generous Referral Bonuses And More!
