PAYOR ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST (CONTRACTOR) 📍 Location: Remote (U.S.) 💼 Employment Type: Contractor 💰 Compensation: $35/hour (capped at 160 hours/month) WHO WE ARE Midi Health is the only comprehensive virtual care clinic focused on women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and midlife health. THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a Payor Enrollment Specialist (Contractor) to help build and scale our payor enrollment operations. This role will be critical in establishing workflows, driving enrollment timelines, and ensuring our clinicians are properly credentialed across payors. You’ll operate at both the execution and systems level — owning day-to-day enrollment while helping define best practices as we scale. WHAT YOU’LL DO CREDENTIALING & ENROLLMENT - Own the end-to-end payor enrollment lifecycle for providers (MDs, NPs) - Review and attest to CAQH profiles for accuracy and completeness - Submit and track payor enrollment applications across multiple health plans - Drive proactive follow-ups to ensure timely approvals and minimize delays BILLING & ISSUE RESOLUTION - Act as the point of contact for enrollment-related escalations - Investigate and resolve billing or payor-related issues tied to enrollment status TIMELINES & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT - Track application progress and identify risks to timelines - Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders - Serve as a subject matter expert on payor enrollment processes PROCESS & SYSTEMS - Build and refine SOPs for credentialing and enrollment workflows - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability - Help implement tools and systems to support growth COMPLIANCE - Ensure all credentialing aligns with NCQA, CAQH, state, and federal requirements - Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider data across systems WHO YOU ARE - 2+ years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or licensing - Hands-on experience with payor enrollment applications and follow-up - Experience working with providers, payors, and/or health systems - Familiarity with credentialing databases and CAQH - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Able to manage multiple workflows and timelines independently - Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Nice to have: - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field - Certifications such as CPCS or CPMSM 🎧 While you wait to hear from us - hear from our patients and why they 💜 Midi here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1px7i6MVjNg and here! https://youtu.be/LfeVmuVWEqY Midi Health is a diverse organization.
