Angi at a glance: - Founded in 1995 as Angie’s List and rebranded in 2021 - Global company with 9 brands in 8 countries and employees worldwide - Homeowners have turned to us for 300 million home projects and counting ABOUT THE ROLE Reports to: Chief Financial Officer, International Angi is seeking a temporary Director, Procurement to work with the finance team and business partners across the organization including Technology, Product, and Operations, including senior leadership to manage effective procurement processes. The temporary Director will analyze renewals, obtain competitive quotes, and directly handle negotiations with vendors to ensure the best terms for Angi and drive meaningful cost savings for the business. This position will require candidates to work up to 40 hours per week. The hourly rate for this role ranges between $70-$95/hour. While this is a remote position, we are a global company and are looking for applicants located in eastern or central time zones to align with our team's working hours. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Manage a procurement calendar to ensure proactivity, visibility, and leverage in negotiations - Lead vendor communication and contract negotiations, partnering with leaders across the business to understand stakeholder requirements and secure competitive quotes to reach optimal contract terms - Deliver data-driven spend analysis and insights to senior leadership; proactively identify cost savings opportunities - Partner with Finance and IT Asset Management to integrate procurement with forecasting and cost management - Steward procurement strategy and processes across the organization Who you are: - 8+ years of procurement experience with a record of delivering cost savings and negotiating complex contracts - 4+ years of experience directly negotiating software and technology contracts - Exceptional understanding of contracts; ability to identify which terms and conditions are commercially favorable or unfavorable - Highly organized and detail oriented - Strong communicator with ability to collaborate with cross functional partners at at senior levels across the organization - Bachelor’s degree required We value diversity We know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems.
