Senior Engineering Manager, Portfolio Accounting

The impact you will have: Lead your teams to be at the forefront of AI-driven engineering, using AI tools and automation to measurably improve productivity, quality, and outcomes while setting and scaling best practices across Portfolio Accounting and adjacent teams. Contribute strategic business insight, design skills, and best practices to a team where engineering collaborates closely with strategy, product, design, and quality engineering, connecting the team’s work directly to Ridgeline’s customer and business outcomes. Be involved in the entire software development process, from requirement gathering and design reviews through the implementation of new product features, ensuring the team is focused on the highest-impact work and delivering on time with high quality. Promote a fast paced environment through continuous improvement, agile, and kanban development methodologies, proactively removing roadblocks and evolving processes so multiple teams can deliver effectively. Regularly contribute to our codebase and actively participate in reviews for the team’s technical designs and code, setting high technical standards and guiding architectural decisions for Portfolio Accounting. Help engineers develop new skills and advance their career through coaching, with a particular focus on growing senior ICs and emerging leaders. Engage in performance conversations and help align business objectives and career goals, using clear expectations, data, and feedback to recognize high performance and address performance gaps. Coach, mentor, and inspire teams of engineers that are responsible for delivering high performing, secure enterprise applications, designing team structures and roles that scale as Ridgeline and our customers grow. Impact a developing tech stack based on modern front-end frameworks and cost-efficient utilization of AWS back-end services, balancing long-term platform health with near-term delivery needs. Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way, influencing decisions across functions and representing Portfolio Accounting in broader company discussions.
