Job Description
Senior Staff / Staff Metrics Program Manager and AI Workflow Systems Manager
(San Ramon, CA or Reno, NV)
Are you excited to design AI-powered systems that don’t just track work—but actively manage and optimize it? Do you enjoy translating complex operational challenges into structured workflows, intelligent automation, and measurable performance? Are you motivated by building scalable systems that bring clarity, prioritization, and accountability to fast-moving technical teams? If so, we invite you to be a part of our innovative team.
In this role, you will serve as the product owner of Ridgeline’s internal AI-augmented delivery platform within our Security organization, architecting how work is structured, executed, and optimized. You’ll design and deploy AI-powered workflows, define schemas and governance frameworks, and ensure high-quality data capture for intelligent automation and insights. Partnering closely with technical teams, you’ll translate strategy into operational systems—leveraging cutting-edge AI tools such as large language models, prompt orchestration frameworks, and workflow automation platforms—to drive visibility, prioritization, and performance at scale. This is a hands-on role where you will balance system design, execution, and continuous improvement to enable measurable business outcomes.
At Ridgeline, how we work matters as much as what we build. Ridgeliners act like owners, choose growth over comfort, and communicate with transparency. We assume positive intent, bias toward action, and bring solutions—not just problems. We celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and thrive in a resilient, collaborative, high-performing culture. If this excites you, we’d love to meet you!
You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
The impact you will have:
Design and implement AI-optimized workflows with structured schemas, states, and data models that enable intelligent automation
Configure and govern AI systems including prompts, routing logic, autonomy thresholds, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints
Monitor AI agent performance and continuously improve reliability, accuracy, and operational outcomes
Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of workflow and AI enhancements aligned to business impact
Drive adoption of structured work practices and transition teams from manual tracking to AI-inferred visibility
Translate strategic objectives into measurable metrics, dashboards, and execution frameworks
Partner cross-functionally with Security, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver scalable operational systems
Lead execution with a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery while ensuring accountability and momentum
Establish best practices for workflow governance, data quality, and AI system reliability
What we look for:
8–10+ years of experience in program management, operations, workflow engineering, or related fields
Strong data literacy with experience analyzing operational metrics, flow efficiency, and performance dashboards
Proven ability to design and optimize structured workflows, intake systems, and automation frameworks
Experience working with AI systems, including prompt design, instruction governance, and human-in-the-loop models
Familiarity with autonomy frameworks, escalation logic, and risk-based AI governance approaches (e.g., NIST AI RMF)
Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity to deliver scalable solutions
Experience defining and tracking OKRs tied to business outcomes
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and continuous learning orientation
Bonus:
Experience in FinTech or investment management platforms
Familiarity with SaaS environments, cloud infrastructure, and AWS
Exposure to serverless architectures
Passion for building engaging, efficient, and enjoyable team workflows
