What you can expect You will lead market intelligence and research initiatives that shape product strategy and positioning across Zoom's portfolio. You will design and execute comprehensive studies using quantitative, qualitative, and synthetic methodologies to uncover actionable insights. You will directly influence go-to-market decisions and brand differentiation through data-driven storytelling that drives pipeline and revenue. About the Team We deliver market intelligence and competitive insights that inform product strategy and marketing effectiveness. Our team partners across Marketing, Product, and Sales to translate research into compelling narratives. We exist to strengthen Zoom's market positioning and drive strategic decision-making through rigorous research frameworks. Responsibilities Leading market intelligence initiatives including surveys, product naming tests, message validation, and segmentation analysis to evaluate market opportunities and improve positioning Designing and conducting research studies using multiple methodologies, synthesizing findings into executive-ready insights and customer-facing content that drives pipeline Coordinating cross-functional research initiatives with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Analyst Relations teams to align market intelligence with business strategy Creating persona-level research, case studies, and total cost of ownership analyses that support bottom-of-funnel content and sales enablement What we’re looking for Demonstrate 8 years of professional experience in a SaaS environment with deep understanding of enterprise software markets Apply in-depth knowledge of research methodologies including quantitative, qualitative, and synthetic approaches to solve complex business problems Synthesize and present complex data to diverse audiences including executives, translating insights into actionable recommendations Communicate clearly and persuasively through excellent written and verbal skills across all organizational levels Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining analytical rigor and understanding strategic context Collaborate effectively across teams with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset Bring 2 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or competitive intelligence roles Possess knowledge of unified communications, contact center, or adjacent technology markets Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $97,600.00 Maximum: $225,700.00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
