Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage R8Q planning for Head & Media components Coordinate Head & Media combination pairing Conduct Head & Media demand and supply analysis Review Bill of Materials (BOMs) related to Head & Media planning Coordinate with Engineering and Component teams to optimize Head & Media supply Monitor and provide recommendations on issues that may present risks or opportunities to the organization Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships while ensuring effective communication Support all necessary BCM (Business Continuity Management) activities Understand IMS policies and contribute effectively to achieving organizational objectives and intended outcomes
This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.
REQUIRED:
Currently pursuing or recently completed X degree in any field  or equivalent experience
Experience or strong academic/project background  in procurement or planning role in electronic or manufacturing environment
PREFERRED:
Experience in Planning & ERP system development & deployment is optional  Good understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes (MES and ERP)
SKILLS:
Knowledge of procurement activities, supply chain management, and MRP systems
Strong negotiation and coordination skills Strong Analysis skills Good command of spoken and written English Skills in computer literacy, Power BI, Python, R, C, SQL, and IT Program
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
