CPU Senior Circuit Design Engineer

Job Details: Job Description: Intel's most efficient CPU Technology team is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Circuit Design Engineer to join our efforts in shaping the future of next-generation CPU programs. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing high-performance, low-power custom circuits that meet stringent power, performance, and area (PPA) targets. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will directly contribute to Intel's cutting-edge advancements, enabling groundbreaking innovations and driving our industry leadership forward. Key Responsibilities Develop custom circuit designs for Intel's next-generation CPU programs, ensuring high performance and low power consumption. Perform circuit simulation, design verification, and technical readiness reviews to meet PPA goals. Execute design verification using industry-standard signoff methodologies, including functional equivalency verification, timing analysis, noise analysis, and layout checks. Analyze and optimize power, reliability, and signal integrity for custom circuit blocks. Apply knowledge of advanced CMOS technology and physical layout techniques to achieve high efficiency and functionality. Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies for circuit design and verification. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 7 years of experience in custom circuit design for advanced CMOS technologies with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years of experience with a Master's degree. Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools for circuit design and verification. Deep understanding of advanced CMOS technology and physical layout techniques. Experience with circuit simulation, timing analysis, noise/signal integrity analysis, and layout design rule checks. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, collaborative environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and solutions.
