<p>The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce through expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. We launched in 2020 and have since then built world-class operations to delight our customers with access to Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail delivery through our marketplace. The Retail Strategy Operations team has expanded into industries like pets, beauty, flowers, office supplies, home improvement, apparel and so much more. </p>
<h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2>
<p>As we continue to scale our Retail business, we’re looking to hire an Associate onto our Retail Strategy Operations team to support our Category Managers on key strategic initiatives including growth, merchandising selection. This role offers the opportunity for end-to-end ownership of high-impact growth initiatives within some of our fastest-growing retail verticals. </p>
<p>You’ll focus on both strategy and execution of initiatives that drive topline growth – whether that’s expanding and optimizing selection, launching and scaling promotional campaigns, improving on-platform merchandising, or ideating and testing new product builds. This is a highly cross-functional role. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Product, Shopex, Growth, Selection, Partnership Managers and Analytics to test, measure, and scale retail initiatives that increase GOV and customer engagement. </p>
<p>You’ll be an individual contributor reporting into a Manager. We operate in a hybrid environment and spend a few days a month in person together! </p>

<li><strong>Strategize.</strong> From first principles, by mapping selection whitespace by retailer type, geo, and category to unlock product availability for our customers</li>
<li><strong>Operate</strong>. Stand up 0→1 pilots, build dashboards, manage week-over-week KPIs and turn wins into scalable processes.</li>
<li><strong>Analyze.</strong> Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate expansion opportunities and prioritize the next bets.</li>
<li><strong>Build. </strong>Translate sales-cycles and GTM needs into requirements and co-lead product feature development </li>
<li><strong>Lead, collaborate and Influence.</strong> You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to unlock partnerships, growth and quality to scale retail presence across the country.</li>

<li><strong>You have 1-3+ years of experience.</strong> You’ve succeeded in similar cultures that are highly analytical and cross-functional (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).</li>

<li><strong>You’re adaptable. </strong>You are constantly chasing new tools and ways to become more efficient and know where, when and how to use AI.</li>
<li><strong>You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. </strong>You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team.</li>
