<p>DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We are working on building autonomous delivery robots from the ground-up and other automation solutions as part of DoorDash's core delivery platform. <h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2>
<p>As an End of Line Engineer at DoorDash Labs you will play a critical role in scaling the production of our next-generation autonomous delivery robots.</p>
<p>You will work with our Hardware team based in San Francisco and visit our production facilities around the Bay Area. This role is in-office 3-5 days a week.</p>

<ul>
<li>Be part of an exciting effort to develop and manufacture an autonomous delivery robot</li>
<li>Reduce the time required to validate the robot assembly process while increasing quality control coverage</li>
<li>Create scripts, test equipment, and tooling used to enable rapid end of line checks</li>
<li>Vendorize existing test processes to allow assembly workforce scaling</li>
<li>Work with leaders and engineers across Design, Manufacturing, and Testing to incorporate changes to the design and assembly processes</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>We're excited about you because… </strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>B.S., M.S., or PhD. in engineering, e.g. robotics, mechanical, electrical or computer science</li>
<li>5-8 years of industry experience working in manufacturing quality control</li>
<li>Experience bringing-up and calibrating sensing or compute systems, high voltage powertrains, and communication networks</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with CAN bus, Ethernet data logging network analysis tools</li>
<li>Experience with Linux scripting test automation </li>
<li>A working understanding of vehicle mechanicals and electronics</li>
<li>An interest in or working knowledge of autonomous vehicle perception systems</li>
</ul>

<p>The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.</p>
