<p>The Business Development (“BD”) Team at DoorDash is a small, fast-paced, high-performing group responsible for sourcing, negotiating and executing transformative partnerships. The Partner Management Team is a division of the Business Development, responsible for the implementation, growth and management of partnerships from contract signature to launch, and throughout the lifecycle of the deal. The BD team, inclusive of the Partner Management division, is central to DoorDash’s continued growth, working closely with senior leadership, operations, product and finance teams to drive growth, retention and long term company initiatives. </p>
<h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2>
<p>As a Manager on the Partner Management team, you will be responsible for the implementation, management and growth of some of the team's most strategic partnerships, across Growth, DashPass and other lines of business. You will report to the Senior Partnerships Manager, Business Development. The role is open in SF, NYC, LA or Chicago with the requirement to travel occasionally to one or more of the aforementioned hubs. </p>

<ul>
<li>Support the implementation of, and post-contract-signature process for, some of most strategic partnerships, coordinating the integration of new partnerships with internal, cross functional partners including ops, engineering, product, marketing, design, finance, accounting, legal and growth. </li>
<li>Guide the integration of external partners, solidifying alignment on various initiatives, gaining alignment on strategic issues and ensuring partner commitment to the deal. </li>
<li>Track and analyze the success of the partnership, optimizing for areas of success and course correcting the partnership if deal KPIs are not being met.</li>
<li>Build relationships with internal and external partners to guide the partnership’s success</li>
<li>Uncover areas of opportunity to build new initiatives and expand the existing program </li>
<li>Cultivate a POV on the performance and structure of the partnership to make recommendations on the renewal of the partnership and/ or escalate concerning challenges. </li>
<li>Guide straight forward renewal negotiations, and territory expansions, as appropriate and support Deal Leads in more complex deal restructures. </li>
</ul>

<li>You have a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant partnership management experience, whether in business development, corporate development, management consulting or program development. </li>
<li>Work effectively with cross-functional internal partners and external counterparts in a fast-changing environment</li>
<li>Are strategic, driven and analytical with a passion for the local delivery economy and a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape. </li>
<li>Excel at working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders</li>
