<p>DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We are working on building autonomous delivery robots from the ground-up and other automation solutions as part of DoorDash's core delivery platform. <h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2>
<p>As the Manufacturing Integration Engineer at DoorDash Labs you will play a critical role in enabling and maturing our next-generation autonomous delivery robots.</p>
<p>You will report to the Manufacturing Test Engineering team based in Fremont, CA. This role is in-office, interacting with our hardware and software on a daily basis.</p>

<ul>
<li>Be part of an exciting effort to develop and manufacture an autonomous delivery robot.</li>
<li>Own the diagnosis and resolution of new issues arising from robot assembly, testing, and fleet deployment.</li>
<li>Derisk the integration of new hardware and software onto the robot.</li>
<li>Own, develop, and maintain our hardware-in-the-loop workbench for system testing.</li>
<li>Conduct bring-up and calibration of autonomous vehicle sensors, including radar, camera, lidar, and ultrasonic sensors.</li>
<li>Enable the integration of our next-generation robot vehicle platform including the drivetrain, battery, and vehicle networks.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>We're excited about you because… </strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>B.S., M.S., or PhD. in engineering, e.g. robotics, mechanical, electrical or computer science</li>
<li>5+ years of industry experience working in automotive or mechatronics integration</li>
<li>Experience writing requirements tests for complex systems</li>
<li>Experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) system design, testing, and debugging</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with CAN bus, Ethernet data logging network analysis tools</li>
<li>Strong skills in Linux scripting, IP network management, and embedded systems debugging</li>

<p>The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.</p>
