The SevenRooms product enables operators to automatically drive revenue profitability by leveraging data to build direct relationships, deliver exceptional experiences, and increase repeat business. The SevenRooms “In-Store” Technology organization at DoorDash is committed to building products that help restaurants create magical experiences every day.</p><p>We are looking for a Product Designer who will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing a cohesive experience across our different software solutions for global hospitality operators. Your work will be rooted in designing features that excite and delight diners as they reserve and book personalized experiences from venues leveraging our in-store offerings.</p><h1><strong>About the Role</strong></h1><p>Our In-Store Product Designers operate in a shared team, working alongside tenured members of the team with varied skill sets. We’ve built our product team up with the most creative, driven, and passionate entrepreneurs and foodies we could find. Our team is incredibly collaborative, while having the independence to find their niche and have a large impact while doing so. We are the bridge between our clients and our platform and we absolutely love what we do (and we love doing it together). </p><h1><strong>You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…</strong></h1><ul><li><strong>Create Magical User Experiences. </strong>Conceptualize and design end-to-end user flows that minimize friction and accomplish goals for restaurant operators, allowing user needs and pain points to inform innovative design solutions.</li><li><strong>Design beautiful, modern, and functional high-fidelity interfaces</strong>. Own a set of reusable design patterns specifically for SevenRooms' consumer-facing products.</li><li><strong>Lead discovery research to identify users' needs, goals, and pain points. </strong>Conduct frequent usability tests on flows for constant iteration.</li><li><strong>Collaborate closely with the In-Store Product Team.</strong> Review and hone your designs regularly and help others hone theirs. Collaborate with product management to align on outcomes and user needs and visualize guest experience innovations.</li></ul><h1><strong>We’re excited about you because…</strong></h1><ul><li>You have 3+ years of product design experience at a B2B or B2B2C SaaS company with experience designing successful consumer-facing product features end-to-end</li><li>You can translate user needs, goals, and pain points into highly functional designs with a keen eye for visual detail, layout, hierarchy, typography, and animation</li><li>You have curiosity to dig several layers deep into solutions with an eye toward continuous improvement, plus an open mind and flexibility around testing new approaches</li><li>You possess solid understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals and can communicate with engineers to ensure designs are correctly implemented </li><li>Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities.</li></ul><p>We expect this position to be filled by 10/18/25.</p><p> </p><p>Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC Only</p><p>We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and ...
