<p>The In-Store Sales Development team at DoorDash supports and scales the SevenRooms platform by connecting hospitality operators with powerful tools to own guest relationships and streamline in-store operations. As part of DoorDash’s broader sales organization, this team plays a critical role in driving top-of-funnel growth and building strong, hyper-local relationships with restaurants across the U.S.</p>
<h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2>
<p>As a <strong>Sales Development Representative (SDR)</strong>, you’ll be the first point of contact for hospitality operators exploring SevenRooms and DoorDash’s In-Store solutions. You’ll own the early stages of the sales process — researching prospects, identifying decision-makers, qualifying interest, and securing meetings for field sales partners across your assigned region.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for someone who is energized by high-volume outreach, enjoys uncovering opportunities through conversation, and wants to build a strong foundation in sales. You’ll bring discipline and creativity to your outreach while gaining exposure to both inside and field sales motions within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.</p>
<p>You’ll work closely with Sales leadership and field sellers to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities, while building core skills in prospecting, discovery, and storytelling.</p>
<p>We expect this role to be flexible, with some time in office and some time remote. You will need the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through trainings, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessities.</p>

<li><strong>Prospect and qualify new merchants:</strong> Identify, contact, and qualify hospitality operators and key decision-makers through targeted outreach</li>
<li><strong>Drive high-volume outreach:</strong> Conduct consistent cold calling (including high daily dial volume) and email outreach to generate interest and book qualified meetings</li>
<li><strong>Partner with field sales: </strong>Collaborate closely with outside sales partners to set meetings that move opportunities forward</li>
<li><strong>Manage pipeline effectively: </strong>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and internal tools to support clean handoffs and reporting</li>
<li><strong>Refine sales skills:</strong> Continuously improve messaging, discovery, and qualifying techniques through feedback and practice</li>
<li><strong>Build industry knowledge: </strong>Develop expertise in the SevenRooms platform, hospitality operations, and consultative selling</li>

<li><strong>1+ year of experience </strong>in a sales or customer-facing role; high-volume outbound or cold calling experience is a strong plus</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to spark engaging conversations</li>
<li>Comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment with daily activity targets</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing leads and outreach</li>
<li>Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and productivity tools such as Google Workspace</li>
<li>A proactive, coachable mindset with a desire to learn, adapt, and grow within a sales organization</li>
<li>Interest in hospitality, restaurants, or technology-enabled services</li>
