We work on problems ranging from acquiring and onboarding new merchants to building a positive experience and solving pain points for existing merchants, to growing their sales through new products and services.</p><h1><strong>About the Role</strong></h1><p>As a Merchant Strategy Operations Senior Associate at DoorDash, you will lead the support experience for our merchants, owning both the strategy execution of how we serve them once they’re live on the platform. You’ll be responsible for transforming support into a tech-first, scalable, and seamless experience that drives merchant satisfaction, retention loyalty. </p><h1><strong>You're excited about this opportunity because you will…</strong></h1><ul><li><strong>Strategize</strong> – Build the strategy for helping merchants succeed once they’re live on DoorDash by providing fast and seamless solutions when merchants face issues, minimizing operational friction</li><li><strong>Experiment, Analyze and Implement</strong> – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to drive go-to-market execution for new initiatives to help merchants have the best experience on Doordash</li><li><strong>Influence</strong> – Work cross-functionally with our product, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and analytics teams to land key initiatives</li></ul><h1><strong>We're excited about you because… </strong></h1><ul><li>You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher </li><li>You have 2-3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, banking, technology, or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience and experience leading a team are a plus</li><li>You have a proven track record of working on highly cross-functional initiatives, managing towards ambitious goals, and succeeding in a complex environments</li><li>You’re <strong>an owner / self-starter</strong> – You have a bias towards action and are proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions, and areas to add value</li><li>You’re naturally <strong>curious</strong> – You always look for ways to innovate and improve</li><li>You’re a <strong>problem solver</strong> – You solve problems from first principles and resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking</li><li>You’re <strong>analytical </strong>– You let data win arguments, and you’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel.</li><li>You’re <strong>gritty</strong> – You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful</li><li>You’re <strong>persuasive and a relationship-builder</strong> – You leverage clear, concise communications (both written and verbal) to influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of job functions</li><li>Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities.</li></ul><p><br>We expect this position to be filled by 12/22/25.</p><br><p>Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC Only</p><p>We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT in NYC.
