<h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2>
<p>DoorDash is hiring an exceptional and experienced Senior Counsel, Ads Promotions to join our legal team. You will partner closely with our product, engineering, and sales teams that support everything related to our advertising and promotions products. This business operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences. This role will provide all aspects of legal support to this developing and innovative area at DoorDash, including both product and commercial work, as well as partnering with the business on any operational and strategic risks.</p>

<li>Advise global product and engineering teams on digital advertising, data use, regulatory and privacy matters from product ideation through launch and beyond, and become embedded with those teams to provide pragmatic and strategic advice as the product evolves</li>
<li>Draft, review and negotiate complex strategic product partnerships and collaborations that are critical to DoorDash’s growth</li>
<li>Translate the complexities of legal frameworks into simple and actionable guidance, empowering teams to innovate confidently</li>
<li>Partner with many cross-functional teams to provide legal and general risk guidance for issues concerning our data, digital advertising and promotions products</li>
<li>Anticipate and navigate emerging global legal risks, helping the business move fast while protecting user trust and company values</li>
<li>Stay at the forefront of global legal and industry trends, keeping DoorDash ahead of the curve and shaping conversations across the company</li>
<li>Build deep, collaborative relationships as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing decisions and transforming how DoorDash connects ideas with audiences around the world</li>

<h2><strong>We’re excited about you because…</strong></h2>

<li>You have at least 8+ years of experience working in a demanding and innovative legal environment on legal issues including digital advertising, privacy, technology or related commercial work</li>
<li>You have the proven ability to build lasting, collaborative relationships across product and business teams</li>
<li>You are quick to pick up new laws and technologies, bringing curiosity and adaptability to every challenge</li>
<li>You have experience in the legal issues impacting retail media networks, advertising, marketing, promotions, digital media, technology and related matters</li>
<li>You are skilled at translating complicated legal issues into plain-language guidance that empowers teams to move forward</li>
<li>You have experience providing product/regulatory counsel in the ads space</li>
<li>You have a strong business acumen</li>
