This team is central to DoorDash’s continued growth. We work closely with senior leadership, operations, product and finance teams to guide company strategy. We lead all aspects of identifying, evaluating, and executing transactions that have a significant impact on the overall direction of the company.</p><h1><strong>About the Role</strong></h1><p>As a senior manager, you will identify and execute transformative acquisitions and investments globally that accelerate or increase the likelihood of DoorDash achieving its strategic objectives. You will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Development. This role is remote first with some domestic and international travel expected.</p><h1><strong>You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…</strong></h1><ul><li>Lead all aspects of the deal cycle, including sourcing, evaluation of business model attractiveness, strategic/financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, structuring and negotiation, and integration</li><li>Coordinate diligence, deal execution, and integration across cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, product, finance, accounting, and legal</li><li>Build relationships with emerging and established companies as well as with investment banking and venture capital firms</li><li>Identify, research and recommend industries, companies and technologies globally for DoorDash to evaluate from an MA or investment perspective </li><li>Drive post-deal success by overseeing integration planning and execution, ensuring acquired companies are performing against defined deal success criteria</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and presentations that track and analyze our industry, as well as track prospective MA opportunities</li><li>Support cross-functional capital markets and financing efforts</li></ul><h1><strong>We’re excited about you because…</strong></h1><ul><li>Have a Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, whether in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, management consulting or otherwise</li><li>Are strategic, driven and analytical with a passion for the local delivery economy and a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape</li><li>Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, and broad quantitative analysis with a familiarity of basic accounting principles</li><li>Ability to work effectively with cross-functional senior executives in a fast-changing environment</li><li>Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities.</li></ul><p> </p><br><p>Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC Only</p><p>We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT in NYC.
