You’ll collaborate closely with Kraken’s Pro and Trading teams to ensure consistency across trading surfaces while modernising Breakout’s core product.This is a highly technical, fast-moving environment where design plays a critical role in turning complex trading systems into clear, intuitive, and high-performance user experiencesAs a Staff Product Designer, you’ll lead the evolution and modernisation of Breakout’s end-to-end product experience. You will:Define scalable UX patterns for trading, accounts, KYC, and performance trackingLead the redesign and modernisation of Breakout’s core web and mobile experiencesSimplify complex financial and trading concepts into clear, fast, and legible interfacesDrive product strategy alongside Product and Engineering, shaping what we build - not just how it looksEstablish design systems, standards, and best practices that scale across teamsPartner closely with Marketing to ensure seamless handoff and cohesive user journeysPrototype and test quickly, balancing discovery with deliveryRaise the craft bar through hands-on execution and mentorship|Skills you should HODL7+ years of product design experience, including time operating at a senior or staff levelProven experience designing complex, data-heavy, or technical products (fintech, trading, SaaS, or similar)Strong product thinking — able to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsExperience leading large-scale redesigns or modernisation initiatives end-to-endDeep understanding of UX systems, interaction design, and information architectureAbility to design fast, high-signal interfaces where speed and clarity matterComfort working closely with engineers and understanding technical tradeoffsExperience creating and scaling design systems and reusable patternsStrong prototyping skills to validate ideas quicklyClear communicator who can influence stakeholders and articulate rationaleA portfolio demons ...
