Our team grows, inspires, and supports a strong community while evangelizing and promoting Epic's tools and services.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3> <p>Epic is looking for a Lead Community Manager to inspire and grow our developer community for Unreal Engine, Fortnite creators, and Fab. The ideal candidate will have experience with game engines and user-generated content (UGC), with a preference for Unreal Engine and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).</p> <h3><strong>In this role, you will</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Initiate positive and supportive conversations with the community around content, information, and other opportunities while staying up to date with the latest community trends for Unreal Engine and Fortnite</li> <li><span>Manage our Epic Developer Community Forums, Discord Channels, Twitch, and YouTube, and monitor and respond to conversations in those channels</span></li> <li><span>Create and grow self-sustaining community programs</span></li> <li><span>Write and analyze community sentiment reports, identifying key community issues, and escalating issues to the proper teams</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders across Epic Games to share the latest community analytics, sentiment, issues, and other feedback</span></li> <li><span>Work with the community team to organize weekly livestreams, and other events such as AMAs, game jams, and challenges.</span></li> <li><span>Ensure the community is healthy and active by making our platforms welcoming, engaging, and informative to new and veteran members and stimulate continued community-made contributions by sharing great community tutorials, amazing creations, and rewarding outstanding community contributors</span></li> </ul> <h3><strong>What we're looking for</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span>8+ years of experience in Community Management or other disciplines with strong community interaction</span></li> <li><span>Extensive experience with software development communities, with a strong understanding of game engine development and UGC</span></li> <li><span>Passion for gaming, UGC, and the developer community</span></li> <li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li> <li><span>You’re community-focused, passionate, and innovative</span></li> <li><span>Previous experience developing games or other real-time experiences, ideally using Unreal Engine or Unreal Editor for Fortnite</span></li> </ul> <h2>EPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFE</h2> <p><span data-sheets-userformat="{"2":13201,"3":{"1":0},"7":{"1":[{"1":2,"2":0,"5":{"1":2,"2":13421772}},{"1":0,"2":0,"3":3},{"1":1,"2":0,"4":1}]},"10":0,"11":4,"12":0,"15":"Roboto","16":10}">Our intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
