<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Fivetran builds automated data pipelines that power the modern data stack for thousands of companies worldwide.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We are seeking a business-minded Commercial Counsel with experience drafting and negotiating sales agreements with leading global and domestic organizations. This role will report to the Director and Assistant General Counsel, Commercial, and will serve as a key legal partner to cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the company.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team</span></p>

<p><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">What You’ll Do</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support Fivetran’s sales organization by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, and related amendments</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, and RevOps to facilitate efficient deal execution while managing legal and business risk</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Advise on contractual issues related to data protection, privacy, security, IP, liability, and compliance in a SaaS environment</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to help close deals while maintaining scalable contracting processes</span></p>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines</span></p>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support cross-functional initiatives related to product launches, pricing, go-to-market motions, and customer lifecycle matters</span></p>

<p><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Skills We’re Looking For</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">7+ years’ experience negotiating and drafting sales agreements, including in-house experience at a SaaS or technology company and/or law firm.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong experience negotiating SaaS, cloud, or technology agreements supporting direct sales teams</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and technology contracting issues in a B2B SaaS context</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong communication skills and comfort advising non-legal stakeholders</span></p>
