Rather than being constrained by the structures which make Cloudflare a massively successful business, we are able to leverage them to deliver entirely new tools and products to our customers. Cloudflare’s edge and network make it possible to solve problems at massive scale and efficiency which would be impossible for almost any other organization.</p> <h3><strong>About the role</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking a skilled Frontend (UI) Platform Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for all Media Platform components of the Cloudflare Dashboard: Images, Stream and Realtime. You will also build and maintain media-specific standalone UI components and applications, e.g. video players, media upload tools and web conferencing solutions. Media applications push performance and usability requirements to the limit.</p> <h3><strong>Technologies we use</strong></h3> <p>React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), React Router, PlayWright, Selenium, Vite, Webpack, Bazel, CI/CD tools, Go, RESTful APIs, HLS/DASH, WebRTC, MoQ.</p> <h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>We want someone who understands and obsesses over front-end systems.</li> <li>4+ years of experience in frontend engineering, specializing in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of UI infrastructure, CI/CD, and testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).</li> <li>Proven ability to drive projects independently, from concept to implementation.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Bonus skills</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Video streaming and web playback.</li> <li>Browser media APIs.</li> <li>Realtime communication protocols and/or video conferencing, e.g. WebRTC.</li> <li>Experience building and scaling large-scale web applications.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>What Makes Cloudflare Special?</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company.
