Come join us! </span></p> </div></div><p><strong>Available Locations: Mexico City, MX OR Lisbon, Portugal</strong></p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <p>As a General Ledger (GL) Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You’ll assist with a variety of General Ledger activities, with a focus on driving operational efficiency within the organization. Specifically, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Support month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries (e.g., accruals, cash activity, payroll).</li> <li>Conduct or assist with account analysis/reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting policies.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, HR, FPA) to support accurate financial reporting and ensure key transactions are accounted for.</li> <li>Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in corporate accounting activities.</li> <li>Contribute to special projects as needed, including accounting system upgrades, data validation, and reporting optimization.</li> <li>Stay informed on relevant accounting standards and compliance issues to ensure adherence to US GAAP or other applicable frameworks.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Experience working in a fast-growing environment, preferably in a public company</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills, ability to develop, organize and complete projects.</li> <li>Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).</li> <li>Experience with Cash Accounting, Payroll Accounting, and Accruals.</li> <li>Strong technical skills including proficiency in NetSuite/Oracle Cloud, BlackLine/ARCs, Alteryx, and Excel</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with various teams</li> <li>CPA/CA preferred.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>What Makes Cloudflare Special?</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company.
