Come join us! </span></p> </div></div><p><strong>Available Locations: Austin TX, Denver CO</strong></p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our<a href="https://www.cloudflare.com/zero-trust/"> Cloudflare One Client</a> team. You will be working on the cross-platform app and lower-level implementation of our<a href="https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-devices/warp/"> Cloudflare One Client Desktop and Mobile Apps</a>, which protects devices by securely and privately sending traffic from those devices to Cloudflare’s global network, which can apply advanced filtering and Cloudflare One policies.</p> <h4><strong>What you'll do</strong></h4> <p>In your role, you will use <strong>cross-platform frameworks</strong> along with platform-native languages APIs to implement user-friendly apps that run on desktop and mobile platforms. You will also use <strong>Rust</strong> alongside platform-native languages and APIs to implement <strong>high-performance networking</strong> code for both our mobile and desktop apps.</p> <p>You will be most successful in this role if you have a good understanding of <strong>user-interface </strong>programming, the <strong>intricacies of different platforms</strong> (mobile and desktop), experience working on <strong>multi-platform code</strong>, a decent understanding of <strong>lower-level operating system concepts</strong> (virtual memory, multi-threading, process lifecycle, etc.) and <strong>networking concepts protocols</strong> (VPNs, TCP/IP, etc.). You will also have to interact with other languages, such as Flutter, Swift, Java, Kotlin, C#, Rust, C++, and C. You’ll be expected to improve the code quality and to build solid, <strong>testable</strong>, and<strong> well-documented</strong> foundations. </p> <p>As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be expected to lead the design and implementation of major development projects, working closely with our product managers, designers and other teams to implement customer-impacting features.
