Come join us! </span></p> </div></div><p><strong>Available Locations:</strong> Hybrid - Austin</p> <h4><strong>About the Department</strong></h4> <p>Cloudflare’s Engineering Team builds and runs the software that handles about 10% of HTTP requests on the Internet today. We also build and run the internal tools that builds and runs our software. The Engineering Team is split into two groups: one handles product development and the other handles operations. Product development covers both new features and functionality and scaling our existing software to meet the challenges of a massively growing customer base. The operations team handles one of the world’s largest networks with data centers in 102 cities worldwide.</p> <h4><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h4> <p>As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will build the foundational services that enable the world’s largest organizations to run on Cloudflare. You will be responsible for the APIs, UIs, internal tooling, and admin platforms that help manage complex enterprise logic at scale. More specifically, there will be a heavy focus on scaling and extending our <a href="https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/organizations/">Organizations model</a> - the new abstraction for our largest customers and partners to manage Cloudflare.</p> <p>While this is a full-stack role, our roadmap for the coming year is weighted toward backend architecture and systems design<strong>.</strong> You will spend your time helping design our data models, architecting high-performance services in <strong>Go</strong>, optimizing our <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> layer, and ensuring our services are resilient within our <strong>Kubernetes</strong> ecosystem.</p> <p>You won't just ship features; you will also own the "operational excellence" of your services. You’ll use tools like <strong>Jaeger, Sentry, and Kibana</strong> to troubleshoot complex distributed traces and ensure our platform remains highly available for our external and internal customers.</p> <p>You will also rapidly expand your domain knowledge and ability to deliver change through AI tooling.
