The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. This is an opportunity for those who are passionate about empowering companies through cutting-edge search technology and analytics, enabling them to unlock the full potential of their data.</p> <p data-start="550" data-end="578"><strong data-start="550" data-end="576">What You Will Be Doing</strong></p> <ul data-start="579" data-end="1845"> <li>Identify and quality new business opportunities through various channels including cold calling, networking and industry events.</li> <li>Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads through the sales cycle while successfully navigating a complex sales cycle.</li> <li>Develop a comprehensive business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive significant growth within your territory.</li> <li>Position yourself as a trusted advisor, assisting users and customers in harnessing the full power of Elastic's search analytics to transform their data into actionable insights.</li> <li>Identify and develop new use cases, showcasing how Elastic’s solutions enable users to work more efficiently and intelligently.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with various Elastic business functions to align sales strategies and ensure an exceptional customer experience.</li> </ul> <p data-start="1852" data-end="1872"><strong data-start="1852" data-end="1870">What You Bring</strong></p> <ul data-start="1873" data-end="3080"> <li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a full-cycle sales role, preferably in the technology or software industry.</li> <li>Consistent track record of quota overachievement and strong customer references.</li> <li>Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a proven track record of negotiation and closing.</li> <li>Adept at building relationships and establishing credibility with both developers and executives.</li> <li>Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC.</li> <li>Enthusiasm for the Open Source model and a deep appreciation for the community relying on our solutions.</li> <li>Located within the Northeast territory preferred</li> </ul> <p data-start="3087" data-end="3098"><strong data-start="3087" data-end="3096">Bonus Points</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in selling within an Open Source model.</li> </ul> <p>If you're eager to contribute to the world of Search Analytics and thrive in solving complex problems through the power of AI-driven search, Elastic wants to hear from you!</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE).
