<p>Elastic is searching for a Sr Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand the business and drive strategy within our Hunter segment. As we continue on our exciting journey as a high-growth software organization.</p>
<p>Regional Sales Managers are focused on growing revenue through new customer acquisition, meeting and exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics. This is a highly-visible and cross-functional role where you’ll inspire others and lead by example.</p>
<p>Are you an accomplished Sales Leader, having managed successful Account Executives in a dynamic market? Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, help users tackle their hardest problems through the power of search, and build an amazing team? If so, we’d love to hear from you!</p>
<h2><strong>What You Will Be Doing:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Developing comprehensive knowledge of our technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape</li>
<li>Ensuring the attainment of assigned sales quotas by ‘leading from the front and driving Elastic’s sales methodology</li>
<li>Actively foster an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with representatives of the Open Source community and partner ecosystems</li>
<li>Assist in deal creation and closure, as well as meet any managerial needs and provide support to your team as required.</li>
<li>Partnering across Elastic’s leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>What You Bring:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast-paced and technical client acquisition-driven business</li>
<li>Strong SaaS sales leadership</li>
<li>Executive-level relationships with key accounts</li>
<li>Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment</li>
<li>Experience in scaling a high-velocity sales function</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Bonus Points:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Experience working within an Open Source model</li>
</ul>

On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 60/40 pay mix (base salary / target variable). </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</span></p>
