<p>Asana’s Enterprise Technology team is looking for a Salesforce Engineering Manager to join our team, who has an insatiable desire to learn, an ability to drive projects from idea to completion, and a knack for finding creative solutions to complex challenges. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced with developing in Salesforce and leveraging AI technologies to build out processes that will drive the next level of efficiency for our company.</p> <p>This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll achieve:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Drive the development and optimization of our PRM system by partnering with channel, sales, and customer success teams to craft elegant, AI-enhanced solutions for critical workflows.</li> <li>Lead a team of developers, managing priorities and fostering high standards in system architecture and code quality.</li> <li>Co-create and execute a long-term strategic roadmap for our Salesforce implementation, actively exploring and integrating AI opportunities.</li> <li>Lead the planning and execution of projects, including the development and enhancement of partner Quoting and Ordering workflows, ensuring scalable and robust technical solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders on platform health priorities, maintenance, and operational excellence, including the application of AI for predictive maintenance and enhanced automation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>8+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on technical management leading and mentoring a team of developers in a high-pressure, fluid growth environment.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Salesforce Community Cloud primarily including Partner portal development.</li> <li>Salesforce Certified Platform Developer skilled with Apex, LWC, Salesforce APIs, SOAP- or REST-based web services, and SOQL.</li> <li>Extensive experience leading the technical design and implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions, coupled with strong working knowledge of CPQ for Partners (including configuration, product rules, pricing rules, and guided selling).</li> <li>Experience with GitHub, Gearset, and other CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Experience working within a defined SDLC process.</li> <li>Familiarity with Salesforce security best practices, compliance standards, and data governance.</li> <li>Experience with enterprise integration frameworks and service-oriented architecture.</li> <li>Works in a fast-paced environment managing multiple competing priorities.</li> <li>Translates business needs to technical solutions with a willingness to identify and solve challenging problems, from planning to execution to delivery.</li> <li>Experience building and managing product roadmaps, planning sprints, and making trade-offs to ship products.</li> <li>Be the expert on product, solution, and process with a “can do” attitude and desire to deliver high-quality products.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI technologies into overall solution design and implementation.</li> <li>This position is based in Vancouver, Canada.
