At Xendit we are looking for a Junior Product Manager to join the Cards Acquiring team. You will be working on the core rails that allow businesses across APAC (and soon LatAm) to accept payments seamlessly.

This isn’t just about maintaining a roadmap; it’s about solving complex routing puzzles. We work with multiple upstream providers to ensure high authorization rates, cost efficiency, and compliance. You will help us build and maintain features such as Smart Routing, Recurring Payments, 3DS security, and Mobile Wallets (Apple/Google Pay).

We need someone who loves digging into data, is not afraid of technical diagrams, and is ready to get their hands dirty with the operational details that keep our licenses and partnerships active.

Minimum Qualifications

You are Technical: You don’t need to be an engineer, but you must be comfortable reading API documentation, using Postman to test requests, and creating flow diagrams to visualize system architecture.

You are Data-Driven: You know your way around SQL (or are eager to learn fast). You don’t just look at a chart; you ask why the numbers moved.

You are Detail-Oriented: In payments, a small configuration error can cost money or licenses. You are organized and can handle the administrative rigor of dealing with banking partners and schemes.

You Communicate Clearly: You can explain complex payment flows to non-technical merchants and discuss technical constraints with engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Fintech, specifically Payment Gateways or Acquiring.

Familiarity with ISO 8583, 3DS protocols, or Card Scheme rules (Visa/Mastercard).

Experience with Databricks and/or Looker

Responsibilities

Product Execution Delivery

Scope Spec: translate high-level requirements into detailed PRDs and tickets. You will work closely with engineering to clarify logic for features like 3DS, recurring billing, and wallet integrations.

Smart Routing: assist in refining our routing logic. You will help determine the best path for a transaction based on cost, authorization rates, and compliance rules.

Testing: Verify that what we built matches what we scoped. You’ll be the first line of defense before a feature goes live.

Operations Partner Management

Scheme Compliance: manage the essential operational work that keeps us running. This includes handling scheme forms, tracking changes from our 3 banking partners, and managing compliance communication.

Support the support team: Act as the subject matter expert for our L2 Sup ... (truncated, view full listing at source)
