Attendance is expected and fully supported.</p></div><p>As a Staff Applied Scientist sitting within our Data Science organization, you will be responsible for building cutting edge models to navigate critical tradeoffs to drive business value. </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing (ie. Job Duties)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and<strong> deploy robust causal inference models</strong> to quantify the holistic business impact of new product launches (e.g. PSM, Double ML)</li> <li>Act as a leader to establish <strong>standards for measurement</strong> for new product and feature launches </li> <li>Provide <strong>technical mentorship</strong> for other members of the data science organization </li> <li>Act as a <strong>thought partner</strong> for senior leadership to help guide our product development process </li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Look For In You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics with 8+ years of distinguished industry experience</li> <li>Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis and statistical modeling</li> <li>Deep theoretical and applied expertise in a wide range of quasi-experimental methods </li> <li>A track record of influencing business and product strategy through data-driven, causal insights, and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Demonstration of our core cultural values: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, and efficient execution.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in the fintech or crypto industries.</li> <li>Specific experience working pricing models, marketing attribution, or customer LTV modeling.</li> <li>Familiarity with the unique opportunities and challenges of crypto businesses and blockchain data.</li> </ul> <p><em>Disclaimer: Applying for a specific role does not guarantee consideration for that exact position.
