You will identify and own research directions, build high‑quality prototypes, and partner with Engineering to translate validated findings into production‑ready solutions.</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Define and own the research strategy for detecting sophisticated bots across browser, behavioral, and network layers.</li> <li>Design and run experiments, build research tooling, and validate detection hypotheses with rigorous measurement.</li> <li>Analyze how advanced scrapers and bot operators work, and develop effective countermeasures and evasion‑resistant signals.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to prioritize a roadmap and graduate proven concepts into production.</li> <li>Track the evolving anti‑bot landscape and publish internal briefs, benchmarks, and guidance.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>You have</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Proven experience working with sophisticated bots from multiple angles, for example:</li> <ul> <li>Building or analyzing scrapers and automation frameworks</li> <li>Developing or bypassing bot avoidance and mitigation systems</li> <li>Detecting and attributing automated traffic at scale</li> </ul> <li>Deep knowledge in several of t ...
