You will work directly with data scientists, software engineers, and subject matter experts to define new analytics capabilities able to provide our federal customers with the information they need to make proper decisions and enable their digital transformation.</span> <br><span data-contrast="auto"> </span><br><span data-contrast="none">Qualified candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of common machine learning techniques and their application. </span>Candidates should also understand the limitations of these algorithms and how to tweak them or derive from them to achieve similar results at large-scale.<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559740":240}"> <span data-contrast="none">C3 AI Data Scientists are equipped with modern development tools, IDEs, and AI agents to maximize productivity and accelerate solution delivery.</span> </span></p> <p><strong>This role requires US Citizenship</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the research, design, implementation, and deployment of Machine Learning algorithms, intelligent agents, or optimization solutions for enterprise applications leveraging the C3 AI Suite.</li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Assist and enable C3 AI’s federal customers to build their own applications on the C3 AI Suite.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Contribute to the design and implementation of new features of the C3 AI Suite.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship (and willingness to obtain a security clearance)</li> <li>Bachelor’s in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research or equivalent fields.</li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Applied Machine Learning experience (regression and classification, supervised and unsupervised learning). </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Confident presenter, capable of articulating insights, results, and strategies to stakeholders, executives, and customers in high-stakes or strategic settings.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Strong mathematical background (statistics, linear algebra, calculus, probability, and optimization).</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Ability to dive into a large ML codebase to debug and improve it.</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="none">MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research or equivalent fields.</span></li> <li>Active TS/SCI with CI or Full-Scope Polygraph</li> <li><span data-contrast="none"> Experience with deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or application of large language models (RAG, Agentic, etc.).</sp ...
