Learn more at: <strong><a href="https://c3.ai/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">C3 AI</span></a></strong></p></div><p>We are seeking a <strong>Vice President of Developer Enablement</strong> to define and execute the strategy for how developers, data scientists, and architects master the C3 AI Platform. This is not a traditional documentation or training role. We need a technical leader who understands that in a complex PaaS environment, content is product.</p> <p>You will lead the teams responsible for training, documentation, technical tutorials, and training frameworks. You must be hands-on, able to spin up the stack, write code samples, and understand "Model-Driven Architecture" at a fundamental level. Your mandate is to treat technical education as a scalability engine, ensuring that our documentation and training are as world-class and robust as the software itself.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strategic Leadership: Define the vision for C3 AI’s technical information architecture. Transition the organization from reactive content creation to a proactive, developer-centric enablement framework.</li> <li>Content Engineering: Oversee the creation of highly technical documentation, API references, and architecture guides. Ensure content is accurate, testable, and automated where possible.</li> <li>Scalable Training Frameworks: Design and implement a certification and training ecosystem that can scale to thousands of external developers and partners.</li> <li>Hands-on Validation: Personally validate the "Time to Hello World" and developer journey. If a tutorial breaks, you should have the technical acumen to diagnose why.</li> <li>Cross-Functional Alignment: Work in lockstep with Product Management and Engineering to ensure documentation is developed concurrently with new features, not as an afterthought.</li> <li>Team Building: Recruit and manage a high-performing team of Technical Writers, Instructional Designers, Technical Trainers, and Developer Advocates who hold themselves to the highest standards of technical accuracy.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Physics, or a related hard science field.</li> <li>10+ years of experience in technical leadership within enterprise SaaS, PaaS, or deeply technical software companies.</li> <li>Technical Fluency: Demonstrated ability to read and write code (Python, JavaScript, Java) and a deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li> <li>Proven Enablement Success: Experience building "Center of Excellence" style frameworks that successfully ramped up external developer ecosystems.</li> <li>Leadership: Experience managing distributed teams and driving high output in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated fluency in creating and editing high-fidelity video tutorials, utilizing video as a critical medium to elevate the technical conversation and visually demonstrate the depth of the C3 AI Platform</li> <li>Experience specifically with AI/ML platforms or complex data integration tools.</li> <li>Background in professional services or systems integration, providing a deep empathy for the implementation engineer.</li> <li>Experience with "Docs-as-Code" workflows.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input">< ...
