This product platform group is critical to ensuring our customers are met where they are by managing the deployment of both on-prem and SaaS versions of our software, as well as maintaining the high levels of security certification required for our government work. The team is focused on ensuring our product implementations can be cloud agnostic, meet the highest security standards and have an integrated strategy with our more customer facing PMs. This team will also interface with the larger Platform Engineering team at Datavant. </p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>You will be the product partner for the Secure Infrastructure Services team. This team is responsible for building many of our back end services, integrating with our cloud providers, and broader technical infrastructure. </p> <p>In this role you you will:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Set the vision </strong>by partnering with engineering leaders to understand our technology strategy</li> <li><strong>Be customer centric </strong>by obsessing about solving our customers problems. Partner with the engineering team to ship functionality that delight our LS and data provider partners, while striking the right balance of impact vs cost, and making a measurable impact on the business.</li> <li><strong>Be decisive</strong> by identifying current and future areas of ambiguity and providing direction along with reasoning and analysis. Others see you as a source of authority, reinforced by your exceptional judgment on a range of issues, including business, technical and organizational and an ability to articulate your perspective effectively.</li> <li><strong>Write great product requirements</strong> that provide clarity and motivation for what we need to build. You will be noted for your ability to generate workable solutions, avoid potholes, take good ideas from wherever they come, all anchored by a complete understanding of the systems your product touches and the ways in which they are used in practice. As part of the requirement development process, you know how to lead discussions and bring others along with you.</li> <li><strong>Drive adoption</strong> by working closely with engineering teams across the entire organization. You will add value to this process by removing objections, roadblocks, and identifying </li> <li><strong>Be a leader</strong> through example and attitude.</li> <li><strong>Operate like an owner</strong> with a “no job is too small” attitude, doing what is needed to make your product, your team, and Datavant a success.</li> </ul> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li><strong>You have 7+ years in a product management, product strategy, or engineering role.</strong> Ideally working in a healthcare (or a similar industry) where security / compliance play a major role in how things get designed developed</li> <li><strong>You are technical</strong>. When needed, you aren't afraid to dive into the code to better understand what is going on. You have an understanding of containerization ecosystems (Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo CD), Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and GitOps.
