The role will support internal Qventus teams in building out new solutions, streamlining existing development practices, and ensuring that cloud infrastructure is version controlled following GitOps principles.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Assist in the implementation of projects related to Kubernetes, Observability tooling, Security Access Controls, and build pipelines</li> <li>Development of Infrastructure-as-Code modules and documentation thereof</li> <li>Collaborate with internal and external Qventus team members to understand project requirements</li> <li>Document use-cases, how-tos, and projects to grow Qventus’ internal knowledge base</li> <li>Keep on top of industry trends and bring new technologies to the team’s attention</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to work in a team on complex projects and communicate challenges and solutions</li> <li>A desire to learn and ask questions</li> <li>Comfort with Python, Golang, or Bash</li> <li>Experience working with a cloud provider, like AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, etc.</li> <li>Familiarity with a configuration management system like Helm or Terraform</li> <li>Linux system fundamentals, i.e. package management, basic TCP/IP networking, systemctl, journalctl, etc. An understanding of securing Linux systems in the context of containers and selinux is a bonus.</li> <li>An understanding of containerization use cases and deployment strategies like Kubernetes, AWS ECS, etc. in GitOps environments</li> <li>Some experience with relational Database engines like Postgres, MySQL, or Aurora RDS</li> <li>Awareness of observability tooling like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or the ELK stack.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p> </p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;"> Qventus values diversity in its workforce and proudly upholds the principles of <a style="color: #3deac9;" href="https://www.ada.gov/resources/disability-rights-guide/#:~:text=The%20ADA%20prohibits%20discrimination%20on%20the%20basis" target="_blank"> Equal Opportunity Employment </a>.
