Senior Analytics Platform Engineer

We need new talent on board to help us fill the gaps - bringing new ways of thinking into the team and, therefore, new possibilities.</div> <div class="p-rich_text_section">Our Analytics Data Platform processes billions of events daily across multiple AWS regions, serving as the backbone of data-driven decision-making at Veriff. As our first dedicated Analytics Platform Engineer, you will own the infrastructure that enables data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to deliver insights that make the lives of millions of people safer online.</div> <div class="p-rich_text_section"> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1682"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">You’ll help us protect honest people online by:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6084" data-local-id="a3db557a9dd3">Maintaining and optimizing self-hosted tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, Redash, Tableau) to ensure agreed availability</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6201" data-local-id="d1805945e8b8">Designing and implementing AWS infrastructure (e.g. S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift) across multiple regions with strict compliance requirements</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6344" data-local-id="d71a7244820a">Building comprehensive observability for our multi-region Data Lake and Data Warehouse infrastructure</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6449" data-local-id="68b4cbde975b">Implementing FinOps practices: cost tagging, attribution, monitoring, and optimization across our data platform</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6564" data-local-id="545aeb349acd">Creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to enable reproducible, scalable deployments</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6676" data-local-id="befc8fd30c26">Managing Kubernetes infrastructure for data platform services</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6741" data-local-id="3c2afad50381">Proactively preventing issues through monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6826" data-local-id="b2576361b3cd">Participating in on-call rotation and resolving infrastructure incidents</li> </ul> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1682"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="6960" data-local-id="b8aef6241409">Have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7076" data-local-id="bb0b703a6665">Have deep expertise with AWS services, especially data-related infrastructure (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, IAM)</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7191" data-local-id="00b96d0f940a">Have strong Terraform/Infrastructure as Code experience</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7250" data-local-id="9bf19274232f">Can design and maintain Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot containerized applications</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7341" data-local-id="525a7b8550f4">Have experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or similar)</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7425" data-local-id="b1a6d39ef770">Can script and automate using Python and other languages</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7485" data-local-id="2a3b7b6a0c52">Understand data platform concepts: data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7570" data-local-id="4b92a470b6bd">Have experience implementing AWS IAM best practices, security controls, and compliance requirements</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7673" data-local-id="2f13558d7162">Have worked in international teams and have excellent English communication skills</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="7759" data-local-id="0f64bd3c539d">Take ownership of infrastructure components and drive improvem ...
