<p><strong>🧠 About Cortex</strong><br>Cortex helps engineering teams ship better software faster. We're an AI-powered Internal Developer Portal that enforces reliability standards across every team automatically, so organizations can move fast without breaking things. Our customers reduce incidents by 30%, cut MTTR by an average of 50%, and ensure that AI code doesn't compromise service quality. Companies like Canva, Grammarly, and Skyscanner rely on Cortex to drive measurable impact on their most critical engineering outcomes.</p>
<p><strong>📍Location</strong><br>We’re <a href="https://www.cortex.io/post/building-cortex-as-a-remote-first-company">fully remote</a> and welcome candidates from across the US. We get together a few times a year for company offsites where we build stronger relationships, kick off important work, and genuinely enjoy spending time together.</p>

<p><strong>💼 Job Summary<br></strong>Are you a high performing and competitive sales professional with a passion for enterprise technology solutions? We're seeking an experienced and motivated Enterprise Account Executive to join our team. You'll play a key role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding existing accounts. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, including sales, engineering, and executives, to understand complex customer needs and showcase the value of Cortex.</p>
<p><strong>💻 Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive customer acquisition within the enterprise market.</li>
<li>Identify and qualify enterprise leads, building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.</li>
<li>Conduct thorough discovery to understand customer challenges, goals, and pain points, proposing tailored solutions to address their needs.</li>
<li>Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering) to support the sales process and ensure customer success.</li>
<li>Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating features and benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>✔️Qualifications</strong><strong> </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B software sales, with a strong track record of selling to developers—ideally in the developer tools or SaaS space</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences</li>
<li>Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, intricate buying processes, and stakeholder management</li>
<li>A proven track record of high performance, self-motivation, and a desire to continually push boundaries</li>
<li>Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with a results-oriented mindset </li>
</ul>
<p>💰<strong> Compensation</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>On Target Earnings: $325,000</li>
<li>Competitive Equity Package</li>
</ul>
