<p>The Business Operations Specialist will play a key role in the setup and ongoing administration of our new Elastic Riyadh office and business entity, supporting cross-functional operations in Workplace Administration, HR General, Finance, Legal, and support real estate projects across EMEA/APJ. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and smooth day-to-day business support.</p>
<h3><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Initial Office/Entity Setup</p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with global and regional teams to establish the new office/entity, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.</li>
<li>Support the setup of banking, payroll, and vendor relationships.</li>
<li>Assist with real estate project management, including coordinating lease negotiations, fit-out, and facilities setup.</li>
<li>Facilitate registration and licensing processes with local authorities.</li>
<li>Organize onboarding logistics for new hires and ensure workplace readiness.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<p>Workplace/Office Administration</p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver operational excellence in local workplace service functions - front of house operations, managing mail, office walkthroughs, visitors, office supplies, swag, kitchen and lunch services, interior plants, parking and access cards, office maintenance and management systems.</li>
<li>Drive engagement through meetings and events organization.</li>
<li>Be the glue and main point of communication for the local team.</li>
<li>Ensure health, safety, and security standards are met.</li>
<li>Optimize office operations and support HR workflows to enhance the employee experience.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<p>Finance</p>
<ul>
<li>Support accounts payable/receivable processes, expense reimbursements, and vendor management.</li>
<li>Assist with payroll data collection and coordination with the central payroll team.</li>
<li>Track and process local invoices, purchase orders, and payments.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate financial records and support audits as needed.</li>
</ul>

<li>
<p>Legal Compliance</p>
<ul>
<li>Support the collection and filing of legal documents and contracts.</li>
<li>Assist with compliance reporting and regulatory filings.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.</li>
<li>3+ years’ experience in office administration, finance, HR, or operations.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Effective listener and communicator, able to influence actions and outcomes.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and people in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.</li>
<li>IT/AV troubleshooting, Mac, Google Suite, Slack tools experience and comfortable with asynchronous work preferred.</li>
<li>Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills a plus.</li>
<li>An ability to adapt to change is definitely a plus, and we always appreciate a sense of humour</li>
<li>Eligibility for this role is limited to Saudi Nationals</li>
