Pilates Manager, New York City

<p>The Pilates Manager serves as the department’s business leader. This person creates and supports team culture to drive operational excellence and deliver a superior member experience. Pilates Managers are goal-oriented, results-driven, eager to interact with members, and excited to develop and manage a team of high-performing talent. Other duties not listed here may be assigned as necessary to ensure proper department operations.&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Operational Management:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Strive to achieve monthly and annual department financial goals&#xa0;</li><li>Ensure the quality delivered through complimentary and paid Pilates services results in continued Pilates engagement&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Attend weekly club management meetings and monthly meetings with Pilates Instructors&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Collaborate with Membership Advisors to offer Pilates business&#xa0;</li><li>Organize and participate in club special events&#xa0;</li><li>Implement and execute all operational SOPs including administrative duties associated with client outreach and staff accountabilities&#xa0;</li></ul><p><u><strong>Leader of Team Culture:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Collaborate with all departments of the club to achieve interdepartmental synergy&#xa0;</li><li>Facilitate team meetings to create a positive team culture and promote continuous growth and development&#xa0;</li><li>Behavior and performance management of Pilates instructors to maintain a high-quality team that upholds the brand standards and expectations of their role&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Build and manage one’s own Pilates business while coaching and supporting the team to do the same&#xa0;</li><li>Active hiring partner and participant in the interview process&#xa0;</li><li>Responsible for providing an excellent candidate experience by efficiently scheduling interviews and making hiring decisions&#xa0;</li><li>Proactively assess and communicate staffing needs to achieve monthly and annual hiring goals&#xa0;</li><li>Lead the operational and sales components of new-hire onboarding&#xa0;</li></ul><p><u><strong>Learning &amp; Development:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Training and developing of new and existing Pilates Instructors to build and maintain their businesses</li><li>Share &amp; promote our Pilates continuing education workshops&#xa0;</li><li>Opportunity to participate in the Equinox Pilates Education Program&#xa0;</li></ul> <p><u><strong>Position Requirements&#xa0;</strong></u></p><ul><li><strong>Certified on all Pilates apparatus and&#xa0;have completed a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher training program with a minimum of 400 hours&#xa0;</strong></li><li>Aspire to drive a business and achieve financial goals&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Demonstrates professionalism to all employees and members&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to create team accountability through structured timelines and required documentation&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to manage a high volume of inbound communication and respond in a timely manner&#xa0;</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Verbal and written communication skills&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Demonstrated outgoing and collaborative social skills with a strong desire to interact with members, clients, and staff</li></ul><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications&#xa0;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated successful leadership ability in an educational, fitness, or management setting&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Previous experience in providing a high caliber of customer service&#xa0;</li><li>Previous sales experience with a specific focus on attracting new clients and retention&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Pay Transparency: $66,300</strong><strong>; Plus ability to conduct sessions and earn bonus and commissions&#xa0;</strong></p> <ul><li>We offer competitive salary, benefits, and industry leading commission opportunities for club employees&#xa0;</li><li>Complimentary Club membership&#xa0;</li><li>Perks and incentives with our products and ...
