We help designers create beautiful animations for marketing videos, brand content, apps and websites — and collaborate easily with teammates, clients, and stakeholders. Think “Figma for motion design.” With over 20,000 creative teams already using Jitter around the world, our next chapter is ambitious: to make motion a foundational layer of every design stack, by building the motion design operating system that will standardize and scale motion across every brand and campaign, from ideation to production, similar to how design systems transformed UI design. To support this trajectory, we are looking for our first People Lead, a strategic and hands-on leader who will build, structure the People function, and help shape Jitter’s organisation, culture, and leadership practices for the long term. ✨ Our mission. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you’re excited by the challenge of building a People function from the ground up in a fast-growing, international tech company. You are driven to spread and embody Jitter’s culture by genuinely taking care of the team, understanding what motivates individuals, and creating the conditions for people to thrive You are equally comfortable partnering with founders on organizational design, coaching leaders, rolling up your sleeves to hire top talent, and structuring scalable People processes. You care deeply about culture, achievement, and engagement — and you believe People is a key driver of company growth trajectory. 8+ years of experience in People / Talent roles within Tech or SaaS environments Strong talent acquisition background, with the ability to hire senior, high-impact profiles at scale A structuring experience in designing and running people playbook & processes Comfortable managing HR tools, contractors, and service providers Fluent in English (French is a plus) Curious, pragmatic, data-savvy, and deeply people-oriented. 💥 What you’ll do You are the first People team member to join Jitter as we enter the next phase of our growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, your mission is to own the people function, enabling the company’s growth while maintaining a high bar for culture, performance, and engagement. Build and lead the People function. You’ll be responsible for defining the People strategy with the CEO, execute it with clear roadmap and structured processes. Hire and scale world-class teams. You act as a bar-raiser in hiring. You’ll design and run a strong hiring engine to support rapid growth. Attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent, coach hiring managers, and ensure a smooth, high-quality candidate experience — all driven by clear data and KPIs. Develop, engage, and retain talent. You’ll create clear growth frameworks so people can learn, perform, and progress at Jitter. You’ll design the whole People journey that will actively nurture a strong, cohesive culture. Run solid People operations. You’ll ensure reliable People Ops foundations as the company scales.
