We believe that small businesses need support now more than ever, and that Odeko is uniquely positioned to provide that support.</p></div><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As an Inventory Buyer, dedicated to supporting multiple warehouses in our network, you will own procurement responsibilities including purchasing, forecasting, inventory management, purchase order management and vendor management of 3rd party service providers. You will provide procurement insights and align with the building leadership team as well as local sales teams to drive efficiencies and improvements at the site(s). This is a remote position with minimal travel; and ideal candidates will be based in Texas.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In partnership with the Procurement Operations Manager, provide procurement operations support including: purchasing of inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction and expediting support</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop deep knowledge of inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage KPIs like inventory shrink, out of stocks, inventory turns, new item creations, and gross profit margins.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop relationship across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Align with internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building and develop methods of measuring and defining savings, value and other category metrics</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work in partnership both internally and with suppliers to develop innovative solutions to provide Procurement support to the Operations network</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1-2+ years of experience in supply chain operations</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong analytics and mathematics background</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Supplier/ vendor relationship management experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Look ...
