This role will be key in maximizing the value of New Relic products sold along with the related revenue associated to those sales. As part of this role, you will ensure we execute compliant transactions that address the needs of a diverse set of internal corporate customers, safeguard New Relic revenue, and increase the effectiveness and productivity of our sales teams. This role is critical in helping to define and execute the strategy for modernizing and scaling order management capabilities. You will represent Order Management during transformation initiatives that enhance customer order commitment, system and tooling optimization, and improve inventory performance.</p> <p>This role will work closely with the Deal Desk, billing, and revenue team. The right person for this job has a team player approach, the ability to work across departments with disparate needs and excels at problem solving through critical analysis and is challenged by process review and continuous improvement.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure strong data governance and master data integrity across order management processes</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with deal desk, billing, sales, and senior leadership to align order commitments with business strategy</li> <li>Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement</li> <li>Grow and mentor a high-performing OM team, defining critical skillsets and driving continuous development</li> <li>Act as the point of escalation for non-standard deals and providing potential solutions for order processing</li> <li>Represent Order Management on transformation initiatives and ensure the business needs for your team are met</li> <li>Accurately and efficiently process orders within Salesforce CPQ and Zuora</li> <li>Manually provision orders from time to time for orders that cannot be completed within CPQ</li> <li>Support increased order volume during the busy quarter end periods </li> <li>Investigate non-standard orders to expedite the order entry process</li> <li>Troubleshoot any potential booking errors and correct as quickly and efficiently as possible with minimal customer disruption</li> <li>Maintain data integrity on Salesforce opportunities to ensure forecasting is accurate</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years experience (in a high-tech environment, in a Finance/Operations role).</li> <li>A related BA/BS degree preferred</li> <li>Strong analytical + critical thinking skills</li> <li>High proficiency with SFDC</li> <li>Highly detail oriented with a proven affinity for data entry</li> <li>Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units and across regions.</li> <li>Ability to work without supervision in a fast-paced high-tech environment.</li> <li>Clear ability to communicate</li> <li>Must be a great teammate</li> <li>Understanding/use of communication tools - email, Slack, SalesForce, Zoom Meetings, phone calls, etc.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-AD1</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Fostering a diverse, welcoming and inclusive environment is important to us.
