<p>The Skills Intelligence Analyst serves as the analytical engine for ServiceNow's Skills Center of Excellence, transforming our enterprise skills taxonomy into actionable workforce insights. This role focuses on skills-specific data extraction, analysis, and intelligence generation to support capability-based decision-making across the enterprise. The analyst conducts skills gap analyses, monitors taxonomy health, provides domain expertise to People Analytics on skills dashboards, and delivers data-driven recommendations that enable leaders to make informed talent decisions. This is a hands-on, skills-focused analytical role requiring strong SQL, Excel, and skills domain knowledge.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Skills Intelligence Analysis &amp; Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Extract and analyze skills data from Skills Intelligence, Work Intelligence, Workday, and learning systems to identify patterns, trends, and capability gaps.</li><li>Collaborate with People Analytics to integrate skills intelligence into enterprise dashboards, providing domain expertise on taxonomy structure, business logic, and validation requirements.</li><li>Conduct regular skills gap analyses comparing current workforce capabilities against business needs and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Generate automated weekly/monthly reports tracking skills coverage, proficiency levels, internal mobility, and upskilling rates.</li><li>Perform ad-hoc analysis answering business questions about skills distribution, role transitions, and capability coverage.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Data Quality &amp; Taxonomy Health Monitoring</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor data quality across the skills ecosystem, flagging anomalies, duplicates, inconsistencies, or missing data.</li><li>Track taxonomy adoption and usage patterns—identifying which skills are actively used vs. dormant.</li><li>Surface insights on taxonomy coverage, adoption patterns, and health metrics that inform continuous improvement of the skills framework.</li><li>Validate skills data accuracy by cross-referencing with job profiles, learning completions, and employee assessments.</li><li>Collaborate with Skills Transformation Manager on data governance, providing insights on taxonomy refinements.</li><li>Document data issues and work with technology teams to resolve systemic problems.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Business Intelligence &amp; Stakeholder Support</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Learning &amp; Development, and business leaders to provide skills analytics.</li><li>Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.</li><li>Support Skills Advisory Boards with data on skills trends, market benchmarking, and internal capabilities.</li><li>Create supplementary Excel-based reports and visualizations that complement dashboard insights.</li><li>Present findings to leadership, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities.</li></ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.</li><li>3-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, preferably in HR Analytics, People Analytics, or business intelligence roles.</li><li>Strong SQL proficiency for querying relational databases, joining multiple data sources, and creating complex queries.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, and data modeling.</li><li>Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) for understanding dashboards and providing requirements.</li><li>Experience working with HR data structures (org hierarchies, job codes, employee records, skills data).</li><li>Demonstrated ab ...
