Rubrik Software Engineers are self-starters and driven. We believe in giving engineers responsibility, not tasks. Our goal is to motivate and challenge people to do their best work. </p> <h2><strong>What you'll do </strong></h2> <ul> <li>Contribute to engineering efforts from planning and organization to execution and delivery to solve complex engineering problems in the area of Developer productivity apps and Developer workflows.</li> <li>Work collaboratively to design, implement and evolve high quality automation frameworks for functional and non-functional testing and design of visualization and reporting dashboards for monitoring and enabling data based decisions</li> <li>Develop tools or implement features in existing tools for shortening the development cycle</li> <li>Work with team members on detailed and constructive design and code reviews</li> <li>Collaborate with the broader engineering team on design or architectural decisions</li> <li>Be a role model for showcasing best practices, processes and culture to help Engineering teams improve their productivity</li> </ul> <h2>Experience you’ll need</h2> <ul> <li>BS or MS in Computer science or related field with up to 2 years of relevant work experience. </li> <li>Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.</li> <li>Solid programming skills in one or more programming languages (Python preferred).</li> <li>Experience building AI agents and applications/workflows using LLMs with concepts like RAG is preferred. </li> <li>Working knowledge of virtualization, Container technologies, Storage / database / network and distributed systems.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including quickly getting up to speed with new technologies.</li> </ul> <h2>Experience that is a plus</h2> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Developer productivity tools development.</li> <li>Building, maintaining and supporting infrastructure.</li> <li>Experience with Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure or other public cloud technologies.</li> </ul> </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location.
