In this crucial role, you’ll work directly with prospects and customers, guiding them in understanding the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform and showcasing the technical advantages of our cloud service. Your contribution is vital in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies, helping customer engineering teams expand production applications using Temporal, and owning the technical relationship with key decision-makers. Your role is integral to our success.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal’s platform well.</li> <li>Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.</li> <li>Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies and architectural patterns.</li> <li>Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase the adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments.</li> <li>Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.</li> <li>Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers at customer organizations to ensure they fully leverage Temporal’s capabilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reside within the <strong>Mountain or Pacific time zones</strong>.</li> <li>Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.</li> <li>Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.</li> <li>Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C# or PHP.</li> <li>Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.</li> <li>Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.</li> <li>Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.</li> <li>Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping and sizing opportunities and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>The estimated pay range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000.</li> <li>This is the total compensation, including the base salary and variable role, with a 70/30 split.</li> <li>Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan.</li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> <h3></h3><div class="conte ...
