This role involves producing high-quality technical content, engaging with developers, and gathering feedback for product development. The successful candidate will drive developer engagement and contribute to the growth of our open-source community.</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Create Technical Content:</strong> Produce high-quality technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, guides, diagrams, and videos targeted at developers.</li> <li><strong>Data-Driven Content Strategy:</strong> Use data to inform and evaluate content efforts, iterating based on performance and feedback.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate with Teams:</strong> Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to ensure consistent, high-quality content and messaging.</li> <li><strong>Community Engagement:</strong> Actively engage with the developer community through forums, social media, and events, representing Temporal.io.</li> <li><strong>Feedback Loop:</strong> Gather feedback from the community to influence product development and improve developer experience.</li> <li><strong>Event Participation:</strong> Travel frequently to support and participate in developer events and conferences.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>MUST reside in the United Kingdom and be eligible to work without sponsorship, with a strong preference for London.</strong></li> <li><strong>Educational Background:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on AI and distributed systems.</li> <li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Proficiency in one or more of our SDK languages, distributed systems, state management, and workflow execution.</li> <li><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong> Experience in a developer advocate or relations role; building and engaging developer communities is a plus.</li> <li>The ability to attend meetings in the Pacific Time Zone 2-3 times a week</li> </ul> </div> <div> <h3><strong>Bonus Points</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience in a developer advocate or relations role; building and engaging developer communities is a plus.</li> <li>Strong existing local network of developers.
