Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems tailored to accommodate our expanding user base.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>System Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient foundational systems. Examples include:</li> <ul> <li>Data Infrastructure: Forge the next generation of data systems to fuel our analytics</li> <li>Cloud Infrastructure: Multi-vendor GPU capacity management and scheduling</li> <li>ML Infrastructure: Construct the ML training infrastructure to enhance our AI researchers’ productivity, and inference systems to optimize the scalability and performance of our video GenAI.</li> <li>Product Infrastructure: Create the foundation for HeyGen product</li> </ul> <li>Collaboration: Work closely with product engineers, AI researchers to deliver best performant systems.</li> <li>Performance Monitoring: Monitor backend systems for performance, errors, and anomalies. Implement fixes and improvements as needed.</li> <li>Code Quality: Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews, pair programming, and writing unit and integration tests.</li> <li>Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest system technologies and best practices to ensure HeyGen remains at the forefront of technology.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>2+ years of experience working on scalable and performant systems.</li> <li>Proficiency in python or c++.</li> <li>Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of API design and development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.</li> <li>Experience with Machine Learning Infrastructure especially computer vision.</li> <li>Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What HeyGen Offers</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li> <li>Dynamic and inclusive work environment.</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.</li> <li>Collaborative culture that values innovation and creativity.</li> <li>Access to the latest technologies and tools.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong><br>$180,000 – 240,000 annually<br>Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
