The ideal candidate is a critical thinker familiar with SaaS products and metrics, has a strong background in statistics and data modeling, can clearly communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences, and is excited to partner with engineering to implement the data infrastructure and stack for a rapidly growing startup. This is a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll be trusted with real ownership — from defining our data stack to shaping how insights guide our product roadmap.</p> <p>You’ll help lay the foundation of our data culture, working across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure data drives decisions at every level.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><strong><br></strong></p> <p>Data Tooling Culture</p> <ul> <li>Play a critical role in defining and setting up our data and experimentation stack</li> <li>Partner with engineering to ensure our data is clean, scalable, and usable, considering real-world deployment constraints</li> <li>Create and champion best practices to create a data-driven culture</li> </ul> <p>Product Analytics Insights</p> <ul> <li>Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights to inform product and business decisions</li> <li>Help define the product roadmap through analysis of the user journey, user behaviors, and product trends</li> <li>Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests or data-led product features</li> <li>Partner with product teams and leadership to define new metrics and make prioritization decisions</li> </ul> <p>Business Intelligence Visualizations</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain production-quality dashboards so that team members can access product and business metrics, in a self-serve way</li> <li>Ensure BI tools are dependable and up-to-date</li> <li>Translate complex analyses into simple, visual stories that drive alignment and action.</li> </ul> <p>Collaboration and Communication</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine model requirements</li> <li>Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> <li>Share findings with the rest of the company, helping drive better decision making across marketing, sales, and product teams</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or related field)</li> <li>3+ years of relevant work experience in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Product Analytics, or a related function</li> <li>Expert in SQL and proficiency in at least one scripting language (R or Python)</li> <li>Defined, implemented, and operationalized new feature and product-level metrics from scratch</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with product managers, engineers, and executives</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>What HeyGen Offers:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package</li> <li>Dynamic and inclusive work ...
